Basic overview? It will take a lot of time. But i will write) Little by little.

All what i will say - thats my own opinion related to my RB experience. I do not apply for the only truth in this field.

MRB and Systema Ryabko- absolute different thing, but it is off-topic

MRB does not have a lot of methods for every combination of stroke (i do not yet know correct english terminology do you use). We have only FEW principles. Another way it can be said we have only one universal method for all cases of MA.
It is related to the human brain. In stress situation man can remember 7 +/-2 methods. And if you have trained a hundreds of method - during combat you will remember only 5-9. It is much less ).
But if you want to win - you have to have few universals methods which you will not forget during fight.
