| I heard about it a while ago and it sounds crazy, should be really good as its open equally to all styles and you can wear whatever you like (gi or no gi) but I already have 2008 booked up until May myself so I wont be going.

| I only wish we had something like that in my neck of the woods. Instead we just get large chain shitjitsu clubs banding together to hold "naga" competitions that never actually get registered with naga so no points are awarded....

| Its not THAT great over here. Its getting better all the time but there arent that many events going on and the few that are about are quite expensive so a lot of talent is unable to enjoy regular competition. At 25 quid this one is cheaper than most.

| Well, just on the off chance, if any of you guys happen to plan on going to anything that might be happening in coventry, please tell...i might be able to pop over and say hi (if you fancy, of course)! lol. Now i'm slowly getting accustomed to public transport (though, i still reckon i'd mess everything up if my guy wasn't with me.lol.).

| Birmingham hosts a couple of events but theres no major BJJ competitions in Coventry Im afraid. The last one I was at (Northern Open) was hosted in Kings Norton which isnt too far from Solihull...which isnt too far from Coventry!

| How does joint gold work? I thought there was no such thing as a draw in BJJ/Sub wrestling?

| It's a league system. Same number of points in the end. Also noticed that there will be a grapplers showdown event in Scotland in June so hopefully that will attract some more talent. | | | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
