| Thanks guys! Man it's been a while, but school's been too busy to do anything except study and train, maybe sleep every now and then. It's good to see you guys still around!
As far as the fight, thanks Ryan for your review! And thanks Matt for everything buddy. Ryan was a little biased though haha, I feel I was sloppy in certain aspects. I could have finished the fight AGES before I did, my striking was sloppy IMO and my clinchwork could have been a lot better. I finally woke up in the 3rd round and finished it though. My cardio was crap for this fight, which was a big part of everything. I chose to train for a fight during the hardest semester of my entire college career though, so I'm not too upset about it. If anything, it was a nice kick in the ass and reminder of how important cardio really is in fighting and that if I don't have the time or energy to devote to training properly, I shouldn't take the fight. But a win's a win, and I was lucky enough to get the lessons I might have gotten from a loss while still getting the victory.
In other news, I've had the wonderful opportunity of being invited to train with American Top Team in Danbury CT under Luigi Mondelli, 2nd degree black belt in BJJ. The MMA training there is awesome and I'm training with some excellent, not to mention really nice guys. I believe that this in addition to the other schools I train at will help me to excel, Luigi's coaching has been amazing so far.
How are you guys? what's up with everyone here?
