| wich fighter do you admire the most? For me the fighter I admire the most has to be Rickson Gracie. He didn't lose a single match since he received his black belt (not in mma and not bjj matches) and he continues to dazzle oponents and fans with his techniques up untill today. | | | | Super Moderator Black Belt 5th Dan

| The one that walked away from the fight even though it meant humiliation.
The one that no one knows that swings his sword everymorning 500 times.
The one that shows up to teach only one student in 35degree (celsius) weather.
The one that does what he does because he knows its right, regardless of what the pack is doing that month.
Thats the martial artist I admire.
Thats what I aspire to.

| Well I cant choose one person, but lets say from sport fighters I would choose as one of the best Andy Hug , its old school you cant see something like that today. He was able to make real art from fight, he was artists not fighters. Even while he was diing he didnt stop to fight...
From not sports martial artist, again there was many great people, so I cant say one was best or to one I admire the moust, but I would point to one... well there is story about Samurai who sell his sword to pay funeral for his wife that die...

| The fighter that I admire most is...
The one who ends the fight by using his brains without having to use his fists.
The one who chooses the battles to fight and when to fight them.
The one who knows the value of turning the other cheek when it's purpose is to teach a lesson to an impressionable young mind.
But when necessary, he is also the one who just totally beats the shit out of the other guy, and scares the hell out of everyone else, proving that he is in fact the baddest mutha f*%$ing bastard to ever walk the face of the planet!!!

His 400-0 record is bogus and he was beaten in a Sambo match by Ippon back in the day. | | | | Senior Member Black Belt 2nd Dan
