| Although I've never heard of him before, I'm still sad to hear of him dying. From what I've read on the Internet, he was quite a character & will be missed very much.

Even on Candid Camera for a few episodes. He was one of the biggest names in Professional Wrasslin'

| RIP indeed. His MMA bout for U-Japan is probably not the way to remember him. He was, however, an awesome wrestler. I saw him wrestle in Yokohama for FMW a few years ago (they were one of the promotions that popularised the "death match"). He was great; for a big man he could really move. I remember him pulling off a textbook one-handed cartwheel in the ring.
Pro wrestlers seem to be dropping like flies these days. Too many greats lost over the last few years: Eddie Guerrero, Owen Hart, Curt Hennig, Brian Pillman, Rick Rude. Very sad.

| This may be sad, but it helps to illustrate how - while many will come and go - Hulkamania lives forever.
