I dont know if you saw it but the Admin posted saying he will be changing things around, taking the focus back to something like what it used to be back in the FA days... soon when he gates a chance.

well, if you think about everything that's been discussed, even whilst i've been here, it's covered a fair amount, but, think how many martial arts there are, all the different styles, the history that each one has, the philosophy surrounding it, the literature on it, the news and developments about it, the competitions that continue to go on, not to mention sports science and such that might be an option. Surely we can't have exhausted everything?

Perhaps we just can't think of anything specific to kick off on?

There just seems to be such a wealth of options, i find it hard to believe that there is anything.

Or perhaps some have simply outgrown the kind of conversations, or are bored of them?

I don't know.

I'm currently simply pleased to have got my work handed in on time, a mess as it is! I'm just so tired.

This site kind of reminds me of the end of a night's work. Everybody's gone home, the place is empty, and I'm sat at the bar having a sly beer and chatting with the staff and a couple of regulars.

and hook with a hot girl?

I don't know, is it the site or us? Back in in FA days, I'd usually answer at least 4 replies to various topics, but now...

Speaking only for myself- I've just not got much to say. I'm working on my boxing with a my coach (i have a terrrible hook) and been working away at my basics in subgrappling. Other than that just ploddin through life.

Unfortunately, so am I. The plodding through life that is, still no martial arts for me. Though i am thinking about trying it again, and see if it does me any good.

You guys looking forward to christmas? I'm off back home for a couple of weeks, i wanted it to be one, but it ended up longer. I've so much work to do, and where my parents live, is not the place to do it, especcially with my grandparents round.

I like Hengest's post, and the 'hook up with a hot girl' response.

Sadly, not very often. From my experience, bouncer groupies aren't usually what I'd call hot. On leaving the profession, I successfully sued Patrick Swayze for his misrepresentation of doorwork in Roadhouse.

God, that last comment showed my age...

Yeah, I'm kind of feeling the same way as bamboo and Gazelle. After a period of what I'd politely call "writer's block", but which would probably be more accurately called "fuckwittage", I've started writing again. I'm also gradually re-entering the MA world; just starting new classes in arnis, archery and, possibly, Systema.

Roadhouse is a classic! A tad far fetched but a classic non the less and I wont hear a word against it!
