That's what did the damage, i couldn't even tap out immediately because my other hand was occupied. Admittedly, maybe i should have just tapped out when he was puling my side, but, i'm stubborn and want to try as much as i can to get out before i do so. | Oh, and i don't think it would be 'crappy kickboxing' if one of the instructors is a kickboxing champ.

| No worries, Im not dissing anyone. I have no idea who you are talking about...he could be Cung Le for all I know. But hey my point was that I might be a San Shou champion even though I am really crap at it ...it just happened that the level of competition was low that day.
Also, I dont know if you know but its not just kickboxing. You should learn takedowns and throws (Shuai Jiao) and a few standing submissions as well as these are allowed within the rules. Quote: |

| Cool, this is natural competitive behaviour that we all display but when it results in self harm or injury it is widely known as 'spazzing out'. Its part of learning, not a criticism. Was the technique an Ude Garami also known as the Kimura? Here is what it looks like: Kimura Shoulder lock from closed guard

| ok. I know what you mean, but these were pretty high titles, if i remember rightly, although that doesn't necesarily say much either, at te worlds in Cyprus had some very unfair judging.
I don't think so, though the last pic is a little fuzzy to see. He was on the floor, i was on top, i think he had my right arm locked with both hands, when he got into the position, and he gripped my body with his free leg, i think.
I know, but i just realy like to know that i really can't get out before i tap out.lol. I think i'd decided to do so, before he did the 'death to side manouvre'.
And, i know it's not just kickboxing, but short of muay thai, it's the closest thing, and i did used to like doing the locks and stuff, on the rare occassions we did, as well as the forms.
