I own the choking dvd they put out "lights out". Its definately much more like we do at the subgrappling place mainly because they both are based on a japanese styled jiujitsu that has more recently decided to focus on the ground, as well he is a practiced aikidoka.
That being said and the fact the background rings a bell for me- A good BJJ basics channel or dvd will likely give you mnore bang for your buck.
Personaly, I think its great stuff and his new affiliation with Eddie bravo as his teacher only helps with his credibility.
