Default Sumo: weightclasses

In professional sumo there are no weight classes. Do you guys think it should stay like that or that it should change? I ask this because in amateur sumo there are weightclasses sometimes.
I for one think sumo should stay like it is and always has been: without weightclasses. It's an integral part of the sport of sumo to try to gain weight to compete more effectively, and that's how it should stay. With weighclasses the factor of gaining weight becomes a lot less important. And in my opinion with the adding of weightclasses sumo may attract more people, but it just isn't really sumo anymore. Besides it's really cool to see really heavy guys like the former sumo champions Konishiki or Musashimaru taking on lighter, faster opponents. What do you guys think?

Changing weight classes in sumo ruins the sport alltogether, at least in my opinion.

Watching a smaller man technically out manouever a MUCH larger man is all part of it, between the salt throwing posturing and crowd response, I can't imagine them changing anything for the better.

I have respect to sumo. Changing rules and making sumo more "open" to other people will make it more commercial and soon will kill its spirit. As it happened to shotokan, TKD, judo, jujutsu and most of other arts. I even dont agree that tournaments go outside the Japan.
