He is a brawler and his punches lack penetration because of a weak foundation (stance) - a good technical fighter would tear him to shreds...

I think he would be good, but not championship level. You can't just take a couple of video clips and come to conclusions. The sports are different, the things you are trying to do is different. MMA gloves weigh 4oz., you are'nt trying to box, you are trying to land one good one and then finish.

he isn't a boxer, if he trained to be a boxer he would be good but he was more interested in all aspects of martial arts, it would be like putting him in a TKD match against an Olympic TKD fighter

If he trained boxing, i'll bet he would do quiet well. He is a natural fighter with a decent chin. In his current incarnation, not a chance.
