I got my full yellow belt the other day. Just memorise the basic pattern 1, and il jang. Also learn a variety oft he basic moves. Your technique does not have to be very good. Like someone else said they are looking for fighting spirit, so kia loud, and keep an emotionless expression throughout. However, this isn't essesntial and will simply make you look better. Also relax, looking stiff and robotic will not make you look to great.
