There are way too many mcdojo/blackbelt factory crap holes in this city that its way too easy to end up in a in the wrong place.
Fangshendo is a contract driven franchise at best, they may teach some fighting skills, but you need deep pockets.

Try the "Young Forest Kung fu Club", limited students, but everyone I have met and played with have been real fun.
