Default Wing Chun shoes?

I recently started up with Wing Chun again and I'm having a horrible time with blisters on my feet from the stance and pivoting. We wear socks in class but I was thinking about getting some sort of MA shoe that will have traction but not too much traction. Something along the lines of a wrestling shoe but with less traction. Any suggestions?

When I was doing wing chun, I just bought a pair of those Bruce Lee-type kung fu slippers (with the hard plastic soles) from my local Chinese supermarket and they were perfect. The plastic soles actually help with the pivoting, and the heavy cotton uppers aren't too abrasive on your feet.

We have a few companies in UK who make lightweight MA footwear, I wore these for years but now I find barefoot is better.

I started in socks, but now wear slippers too.

As Hengest says they are "Bruce Lee type slippers but mine have cotton soles, as our training room has a padded floor.

Do a Google for "kung fu slippers" and there are a bunch of suppliers.
The supplier did both cotton and plastic soled versions. they were reasonably priced too!

One of our training session is done in a hall. This has a hard floor, where most people simply wear trainers (but some do have the plastic soled kung fu slippers).
