How long?
You need to be careful because even the strongest will still bend and be rendered useless when you hit someone with it.  ...seriously. The amount of guys Ive seen trying to hammer a retractable cosh back straight because its jammed and wont retract, I lost count! A staff would be even worse, being longer.
