I'm the first fight. The second winner was my student.

Red vs Blue mohawk made me lol. Your guy made a pretty slick reversal on that takedown attempt. Impressive.

Constructive criticism on your fight. I'm not going to comment on your ground game because we all know you've obviously got a solid ground game, and you're leagues ahead of me there anyway I'm certain. I'm predominately a striker, so I watch this asking myself what mistakes I see that I would capitalize on.

When the guy was throwing that flurry of strikes after you first takedown attempt, you just kinda ducked your head away and held out your left like you were trying to stiff arm him away. A good striker should have landed some solid couple of punches on you there. I think a good tight peek-a-boo type boxing guard or crazy monkey (retarded name imo) would have served you alot better. Not only would it have enabled you to block his strikes, you would have been able to close the gap at the same time and get the clinch, which is where it looked like you wanted it.

Another thing I noticed was that when you went in for the body clinch, you dropped your hands way before you got ahold of him. Wide open for hooks to the head if he had tried, and a knee right up the middle which it looked like he rocked you with.

The thing I saw you do that I liked was you kept the forward pressure when he tried for the double neck tie/ thai clinch. The majority of people I've worked with think of the thai clinch as just grab the back of the head and throw a knee. Hard forward pressure almost always throws them off-balance and takes away all thier power. Good job.

Whenever my coach gets done splitting the video into seperate fights, I'll try to upload mine. I'd really appreciate you dissecting my takedown defense and ground game if you have the time.

I appreciate the criticism. I usually use the Crazy Monkey defense, but I was rocked pretty good from the hook and knee I took on the initial takedown. I was basically trying to locate that guy after being tagged. He was a Kickboxer and was told to swing for the fences and throw knees to keep me off. I do not think he thought I would try and frieght train him like I did. There was no way I wasn't getting that Takedown.

I was still a little out of it when we were in the corner, matter of fact he probably could have worked that triangle better. It was at that point that my head got screwed back on and I started to work the pass before the ref put us in the middle.

Your criticism is dead on though. I have been working on my boxing (privates with a pro), but not as much as I'd like. The good thing I draw from this fight was that I worked my Gameplan perfectly.

I wanted to get the takedown, pass the guard and pound the guy out to a TKO.

First I thought it was you with the triangle but the face didn't match.

When they moved it to center ring it looked like you woke up and were ready for some fun.

One thing I have to say- Damn Bushi- your one fast motherfucker! I'd not love to face those fists on my back.

Did he tap? It seemed like the stoppage was a bit premature, even though your opponent wasn't doing anything.

I like how the camera man had better coverage of the girls than the fights.

Hahaha! True that!

I think the stoppage was fair if the guy was stationary, stretched out flat and just accepting blows to his ears without any effective defence or escape. We cant really see but I imagine thats what happened.

What was the weight cat? Im guessing about 77kgs (170lbs)???

He was just eating blows to the side of his head, so the ref stopped it. I thought it was a little early, but the kid was sprawled out and not going anywhere.

Yes, I woke up and was back in the game when he moved us to center.

The fight weight was 170lbs weigh-ins the night before. I cut 18 pounds to get there. By fight time, I weighed 181lbs.
