| why was he runnin....why, and what's up with Lutter. He should lose his contract. His last 2 fights, the 2 biggest fights of his career, he didn't take seriously and really dis-respected his opponents and the sport.

| Hahah! I hope Starnes at least bet against himself before throwing the fight.
BP- I hear about this "disrespect" thing alot but can you or anyone else seriously in any way explain this to me?
Yes he lost his fight and maybe won't get another shot anytime soon but "disrespecting people" seems like something like a cherry on top of 4 pounds of dessert.
So he gassed and didn't train as well (we suspect)- is that really him intentionally "disrespecting" someone? And if so so what?
It doesn't hurt the other guy.
Disrespect is the intentional mockery in subtle or not so subtle ways, gassing out or not training right is not that. I guess I hear the term shot around so much its lost any and all meaning. Usually from young 20 somethings or teens that have have thier delicate pride stepped on in thier not so humble opinions...any way, I digress.

| It could be that he over-trained or didnt taper down his training correctly. Maybe he had a mild illness, travel stress, heart not in it, cut too much...loads of things can affect your performance and you never know till you step on the canvas.
As for Starnes running...you need to watch the fight. Oh yeah and you need to watch Quarry'sinterview too! class act! hahahaha!

| Disrespect. IMO he didn't respect both his opponents and himself. I mean this is a shot of a lifetime for most fighters. It's like making it to Broadway, and showing up drunk for your performance. Or not bothering to memorize your lines for the play.
I read that Kalib was protesting during the fight. He had some issues with compensation for injuries suffered during the TUF series. UFC didn't want to pay for his medical bills, and he feels he should have been compd seeing that it was an "at work" injury. That and that was the last fight of his UFC contract. We have seen Starnes fight in the past and he's not a pushover. Watching his other fights, that def wasn't Starnes in the ring. I guess you can consider that dis-respectful action by him aswell. troll troll troll.

| I loved both of those fights. I'm not a fan of Herman, but he did go out like a warrior. Man Damien's got some sick Jiu Jitsu. GOULET IS MA BOYYEEE.

| I love seeing Herman get choked out. Especially after his last fight that he tapped on and said he tapped like a bitch.
