Default Muay Thai Training!!! How can I put on weight but insure that it is muscle and not fat?

I have recently begun training in Muay Thai. I was about 160 when I begun the class but I noticed on the first day that the conditioning was alot of shoulder and ab workout. I was a muscular 160 but with a good amount of fat in my ab region. I decided to focus on my abs & my back & began a rigorous workout plan. Now four weeks later I can see my abs & have a nice 6 pack! The problem is I lost about 10 lbs & while my chest is very muscular it seems that I lost the layer of fat the was over it as well (we are talking the difference in look that bodybuilders chests have versus the regular guy who has a muscular chest). So my chest is not smaller but I got the results I wanted on the abs but now I am thinking was it worth the sacrifice.

Is there any way I can increase the muscle size in my chest so that it looks like it did before but without the fat? How does a person increase their weight through muscle mass alone? Correct answer will include dietary info on what to eat and how often.

You need to lift heavy weight and do low reps. Lots of protein after each workout, with a low-carb diet. If you want to gain weight and muscle, you don't need Muay Thai... have you seen UFC? Almost all fighter regimens include some Muay Thai training, and they may be muscular, but they are also very lean. If you want to bulk up, you need to lift weights. You will not gain weight training in Muay Thai. Rather, you are bound to lose weight and become leaner.
