I would have been more impressed if the guy were not just sitting there, but actually fought back. I would like to see him pull that stuff off on a fully resisting opponent, otherwise its choreographed and therefore fake.

I am not a big fan on hardwork personally so I can't give a impartial opinion on this video.
An observation purely on video production - they used 2 of the same shots. That (IMO) took away from the general video clip.

The video isnt fake. Even though, it is choregraphed those techniques are quite impressive. I personally liked it.

Lol, at the very last section of the clip in the boxing ring. YOu could really tell his opponent was a very skilled kickboxer. Only high level guys no how to cringe away from multiple punches while backpeddling furiously.

I personally liked it. You have to keep in mind that it seems like a promotional video. It shows different techniques. When you go to most seminars, your actions are "choreographed", right? Does that make seminars fake?

Not all techniques need to be shown with full force sparring. I actually thought this was very interesting and it actually sparked my interest in RMA.

Just my $.02

To the untrained eye, that stuff looks really impressive. To someone who knows grappling, that looks like Matrix choreography that would never be so simple or even possible. Just my opinion.

Agreed, although I'm willing to bet Sonnon could do that to me on the ground without too much trouble . Personally I think the softwork stuff is a lot more impressive.
