Think of it as an opportunity to work on your teaching skillset with fewer people to "impress".

Get a coach, at the very least a bunch of private lessons and then follow ups afterwards to see check your form and break any and all bad habits.

Don't discount all jiujitsu schools simply because they are not bjj- lots of nonbrazilian based jiujitsu is training "alive" and involves good self defense applications, hard workout and vigorous...

I own the choking dvd they put out "lights out". Its definately much more like we do at the subgrappling place mainly because they both are based on a japanese styled jiujitsu that has more recently...
