Thank you for the invitation.
I saw the video and I'm not sure I could do better on ground work.
That looked like a nice technical sparring
I took 2 years of jjj that were including in my police training. I liked that but I'm into chinese styles for the last 6 years. I practise regularly Wing chun and now Xing yi kung fu. I still find ground work interesting and that's something lacking in my kung fu training.
Aikido a very pretty interesting style. When I was training in praying mantis kung fu, there was a guy at my school that has 10 years of aikido and he was bringing a different vision of fighting.
I also had the chance of exchanging with people from bujinkan ninjitsu by regularly participating to seminars
the very irregular police work schedule do not allow me to attend a lot of class or meet groups. I spar only 1 time a week(If I don't count my monthly use of force at work). Fortunatly for me I have my own wooden dummy. Even if it does not strike back, I do most of my training on it. |
