A sixpack is made in the kitchen, so clean up your diet.

Sorry to perpetuate the broken-record theme going in this thread, but no amount of sit ups will get rid of the fat covering your midsection. You must burn the fat by having a calorie deficiency. This means you need to be burning more calories than you consume so your body starts metabolizing its fat deposits (of which the abs will likely be the last place to go... sorry!).

This can be done by eating less than you are now, increasing cardio exercise to burn more calories, or a combination of them both. If you do start dieting remember to remain healthy. If you cut out essential vitamins and nutrients out of your diet you will be doing more harm than good, and if you restrict your eating times instead of serving amounts it will also be counterproductive.

What I mean is that if you say start eating only two meals a day and make yourself starve the rest of the day your body will go into survival mode and you will find it extremely difficult to lose any weight and tone those muscles! Instead keep eating 4-6 times a day to keep that metabolism running and burning those calories away, but decrease the amount of food you eat.

You've got to make a decision of what is more important to you......food or abs.

Best advice I can give you is to learn how to cook. There are a lot of healthy food recipes out there that taste great. Cooking my own meals not only keeps the flab off my six but also makes me very aware of exactly what I?m putting into my body. (calorie/fat/protein)

Of course the downer is that I have to cook for the family pretty often, but hey, what can you do?

Are there any specific exercises that can help develop the lower abdominals? The upper are comming along nicely, but that botom portion is still...well...bleh. It's tone and flat, but i have 4 that look about the same, and this long portion of belly underneath. Any ideas?

The lower two are a killer. Leg lifts and knee ups are good for them, so are general core exercises. But what is your body fat at? If it’s not around 11% then I doubt you’ll be able to get the whole six. Really it’s going to come down to the kitchen and cardio – if you want a six then you have to keep the flab off of it – wont matter how big your abs are.

Default well its like this dude

you eat right as in mostly fruits if u have some veggies good too just get some tape put it about 5inches or what ever is more easy for you and jump without touching middle for about 20min your legs will tire for good legs, stomach is just have someone or weighs on ur feet and start working those cruches thats how i got my six pack

be sure to streach b4 doing the workouts because its not smart to just start when your mucles have not been warmed up
