why don't you try 5x5 workouts? it builds mass and it also helps build strength.
For instance,
5x5 squats
5x5 flat bench
5x5 bent over rows with barbell
every two workouts or so do 5x5 military presses and deadlifts<<great workout.

each day, fit in a workout for 2x10 biceps, tri's, abs. etc
Do only the workouts that really count (weighted dips instead of extensions from machine, squats instead of leg extensions, etc).
This is working for me. Also, i eat and eat and eat. It is important that you eat a lot but important foods. I'm on this workout for about a little short of 2 months and I gained more than 10 lbs. (178 to 191). And i train on the bag, run, grapple, and other cardio.

mon, wed, fri - 5x5 workouts
tues and thurs - mma training.

I don't know if this wil work for you but it works great for me.
if you stil don't understand look it up on google or bodybuilding.com.
they have great info on the net, just look for it! BYE!
