Question Abs with weights

Everybody talks about how they would like defined abs, which won't happen from endless ab exercises. Nor will you achieve strong abs with just doing endless ab exercises, that would only build muscle endurance, not muscle or strength itself. So wouldn't ab exercises with weights build muscle and strength without the endless reps? If so what ab exercises could i do with weights? I'm just looking for solid and strong abs.

One way that not many guys I know do is yoga.

Find yourself a yoga class doing bikram or core strength exercises and sign up. You'll be one of the only young guys in a room full of yoga women. What could go wrong.

You get flexibility and amazing core strength, the stuff you need for martial arts.

Yoga would be better but if you want to do ab exercises with weights well just do what u do but while holding weights or with ankle/wrist weights!

You can do incline crunches starting with say a 25lb plate, holding it against your upper chest. Work up to 35, then 50lb plates.
There are a lot of medicine ball exercises for the stomache, eg., lay on the floor on your back, have your partner stand over you holding the ball. He will drive/throw the ball onto your stomache. Allow the ball to strike you, then throw it back up to your partner. Repeat 25 times. Do 4 sets.
