Default Dehydration

Anyone ever get severly dehydrated? I was in class last night and we had a hard workout. I left and couldn't quite slow my breathing down. I started my car and I realized that my body was completely cramping up. Even my face was cramping. I really got scared when I went to call my instructor and I could barely talk.

So I went into a 7-11 and grabbed an orange juice and quickly drank that. It made me feel much better. The cramping went away but I was still light headed. There was a firehouse a couple houses down from the 7-11 so I stopped in there. They brought me in the back and gave me some "gatorade" type drink and some cantaloupe. Then they called the EMT's to check me out. They said I was suffering from dehydration and heat exhaustion.

Oh....I forgot to say that I didn't eat anything before class. I had lunch at noon and the class was at 7:30. I was drinking plenty of water though (or so I thought).

I wasn't too scared until I went to talk and it was all mumbles because my face was cramped. One of the first things I thought was that I was having a stroke. But then I realized that I was able to move my limbs just that they were cramped up.
