How long does it take to become a blackbelt at Aikido?

Hi there i have just started Aikido and was wondering how long it would take to become a blackbelt. Any one who is a black belt in Aikido please say how long it took you at your dojo. I am 14 years old so i was wondering how old i am am going to be when i become a blackbelt. Thanks. =P I go to Aikido once a week, im not there to get a black belt to look cool but i was wondering how long it would take me to get one.

    If you are only going once a week – you are going to have a very long journey. Typically Japanese Martial Arts such as Jujitsu, Aikijutsu, Judo, Ninjutsu, Aikido, etc take at least 3-5 years to obtain a black belt while training 3-4 days as week. If it is taking you less then that, either you are a natural OR I question your schools grading practices.
